A.J. used the vocal coach that Howie used to use. That is how they met. They kept bumping into Nick. The three of them formed a trio and went and performed for Louis Pearlman at Trans- Contiental Records. The four of them decided to add two more people to the group and form a quintet. They had a friend who knew Kevin, and had an idea to add Brian to the group. The day after Brian recieved the phone call, he was on a plane to Orlando, where the Backstreet Boys were born.
